Cancer Research UK
The OPA is delighted to announce a donation of £10,000 was made to Cancer Research UK on the 26th February 2025. Commenting on the donation, Director, Zaid Ashraf, said: “The work of Cancer Research UK is incredibly important and is a cause that directly impacts many of us here at The OPA and millions of people across the UK. We hope our donation will help to make a difference.”
University Hospitals Birmingham
University Hospitals Birmingham Charity has announced a partnership with a local firm. The Online Property Agency (OPA) is supporting the hospital.
The move comes with a donation of £15,000, made in October 2023, for UHB’s Newborns in Need Appeal. Mike Hammond, charity chief executive, said: “Thanks to this incredibly generous donation from The OPA we are able to provide vital support to parents of premature and poorly babies going through some of the most difficult and stressful times of their lives. The support of The OPA means we will be able to give the best care and support available to our smallest patients. We are very grateful for The OPA’s dedication to making the lives of their local community happier and healthier and are proud to be their charity partner.”
Anzal Begum Foundation
The OPA donated £100,000 to the Anzal Begum Foundation in February 2025.
Commenting on the donation, The OPA Director Zaid Ahsraf said: “The foundation does incredible work, including helping to rebuild homes across Pakistan in the wake of the terrible floods of 2022, which directly impacted over 30 million people. We are delighted to donate this sum of £100,000 to the Anzal Begum Foundation, and we hope it will contribute to the support they provide to those in need.”
